Aardvark’s Dog Training Center offers a variety of dog training classes. All classes are dog and people friendly. They utilize a training method called positive reinforcement, which is a combination of Classical Conditioning and Operant Learning. You will motivate your dog to do what you want by using things that your dog likes: treats, praise, toys, play, etc.

All classes are based on the handler and dog learning as a team, and are dependant on a good relationship between the dog and human. Safety and having a good time with your dog are important in all classes. No physically punishing techniques will be used or allowed in any class.

Class size will be limited to allow for ultimate Instructor/student/socialization ratio.

Basic Manners Beginning – Offered Tuesday nights 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM and Saturday mornings (time to be determined). “ Everything you always wanted to ask your dog to do and didn’t know how to ask”
Basic Manners: Intermediate/Advanced When we get enough people and dogs ready to advance to the intermediate level we schedule the classes. The classes are offered Saturday mornings
Pet First Aid and CPR will also be offered. Please call to get yourself on the class list.

SIRIUS PUPPY TRAINING
Aardvarks is proud to be the Solano County location for Sirius Puppy Training. Sirius Puppy Training Voted the “BEST OF THE BAY AREA” by San Francisco Magazine. Sirius Puppy training is the product of years of development by renowned veterinarian and animal behaviorist Dr. Ian Dunbar.
